Description:
The subdivision had inconsistent fill, causing hillside creep and several homes to experience differential movement. The original foundation systems did not adequately support the structures.

Project Scope:
• Four 4,000 square foot homes
• Partial removal of basements; protection of remaining basement finishes
• Install 70+ hydraulically driven steel piers
• Install 10+ helical piers
• Install 20 micropiles
• Deep compaction grouting
• Install new interior drains and vapor barriers
• Repair structural floors and decks
• Repair stucco and building envelope
• Replace basement finishes

Challenges:
• Homes occupied throughout construction
• Deep piers (40 to 60 feet)
• Deep micropiles (80 to 100 feet)
• Steep slope limited access to back of homes
