A Heartfelt Thank You to ASR Superintendent, Jon Miner
At ASR, we believe that leadership isn’t just about what happens in the office—it’s about how we show up for our communities. This past weekend, one of our own, Jon Miner, demonstrated that belief in action by supporting a meaningful service project in Littleton, Colorado.
Jon, an Eagle Scout and longtime advocate for volunteerism, generously offered his time and expertise to help Spencer Navarre, a local Eagle Scout candidate completing his final service project. Spencer’s goal was to support Sweet Dream in a Bag, a nonprofit organization that provides new bedding and unconditional love to children transitioning from shelters into more permanent housing.
Since its founding in 2010, Sweet Dream in a Bag has gifted over 23,000 children with comfort and care during some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. You can learn more about their mission and impact at their website: www.sweetdreaminabag.org. To help the organization expand its reach, Spencer secured two donated pre-fabricated sheds to address Sweet Dream’s growing need for storage space. These sheds would house bedding kits—each one thoughtfully assembled with love and care—for future families in need.
That’s where Jon’s leadership made all the difference.

With his background in construction and his unwavering commitment to service, Jon led the build alongside Spencer and a team of volunteers. Over the course of the weekend, they worked together to assemble and install the sheds, transforming donated materials into functional, durable storage units that will serve the organization for years to come.
Spencer shared his gratitude in a heartfelt message:
“Thank you so so much for helping with this project. I truly could not have done it without you.
Mr. Miner—Whether you were giving suggestions, helping me stay organized, or helping with the build, you helped me succeed with this project. I really appreciate your help.”
The project was more than just a construction effort—it was a powerful example of mentorship, collaboration, and community spirit. Jon’s guidance not only helped bring Spencer’s vision to life but also empowered other volunteers to contribute meaningfully to a cause that touches lives in a deeply personal way.
To Jon: thank you from all of us at ASR. Your generosity, leadership, and heart for service made a lasting impact. We’re lucky to have you on our team, and we’re inspired by the example you set.
