PROJECT INFORMATION
Duration:
4 Weeks
Value:
$61,000
Services Performed:
Building Envelope Repairs
Type:
Residential
scope:
The Cheeseman Wild Crest HOA faced recurring issues with frozen kitchen pipes along both sides of the building. Upon inspection, it was determined that the exterior walls were constructed solely of concrete, lacking any interior insulation. This design flaw led to freezing conditions within the wall cavities during Denver's harsh winters, causing issues for homeowners. To address this, ASR Companies installed 3-inch Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EFIS) in all affected wall sections. This solution provided a critical thermal barrier, significantly improving the building's insulation performance and directly mitigating the freezing pipe issue. Homeowners can now rest assured that their homes will stay safe and dry next winter.
Despite weather related challenges working on the buildings exterior in Denver's harsh winter, ASR Companies was able to complete this project on time. Our clear and consistent communication with the Cheeseman Wild Crest Management Team kept all key stakeholders infomred through all stages of the project; management, engineers, and homeowners alike.
project outcomes:
- Significant improvement in thermal imaging results post-installation
- Elimination of pipe freezing incidents since project completion
- Project completed on time despite weather-related challenges
- Maintained clean and safe job site throughout the project
- Consistent communication with the Cheeseman Wild Crest management team
